How do you suggest it be updated?

simple, for installing mongo driver on Gentoo, just use the package manager and run the next command:
# emerge mongo

I've added this to the install doc, it should show up tomorrow. Always use -va :)

If you're strict, add -atv.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

Fixed by Kristina, please remember to close the bug report ;-)
