curl_setopt doesn't output any errors or warnings when the types are wrong or the CURLOPT_XXX option doesn't exist.

Reproduce code:
---------------
$session = curl_init();
$out = curl_setopt($session, CURLPT_HTPET, 7);
var_dump( $out );
$out = curl_setopt_array($session, array(CURLPT_HTPET => 7));
var_dump( $out );
curl_close($session);

Expected result:
----------------
bool(false)
bool(false)

Actual result:
--------------
bool(true)
bool(false)
