It seems date counts the days of a given year wrong.

Reproduce code:

<?
$mk=mktime(0, 0, 0, 1, 1, date('Y'));
$dayofyear = date("z", $mk);
echo $dayofyear;
?>


Expected result:
----------------
1

Actual result:
--------------
0
