Doc Bug #47597 DateTimeZone::getTransitions() takes no arguments in PHP 5.2
Submitted: 2009-03-08 12:21 UTC Modified: 2009-03-08 14:15 UTC
From: bugs dot php dot net at chsc dot dk Assigned: kalle (profile)
Status: Closed Package: Documentation problem
PHP Version: Irrelevant OS:
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2009-03-08 12:21 UTC] bugs dot php dot net at chsc dot dk
Description:
------------
AFAICT the two arguments for DateTimeZone::getTransitions() were added in HEAD and on the PHP_5_3 branch, but are not available in PHP 5.2. This isn't mentioned on the manual page:
http://dk.php.net/manual/en/datetimezone.gettransitions.php

I suggest a changelog entry is added like on other manual pages, e.g.:
Version: 5.3
Description: Added the timestamp_begin and timestamp_end parameters.

Reproduce code:
---------------
timezone_transitions_get(new DateTimeZone("Europe/Berlin"), time() - 2*365*86400, time() + 2*365*86400);

Actual result:
--------------
"Warning: timezone_transitions_get() expects exactly 1 parameter, 3 given"
