I'm working with IRM Version 1.0 (BUILD 20000505)
It was working quite nice till the update to php4 even a downgrade didn't fix the problem.
These are not the only php scripts in our company that got problems with their mysql statements.

Warning: MySQL: Unable to save result set in ../irm.inc on line 88

function query($query) {
	return mysql_query($query);
	}

Are you using any other module or application on the
system (such as mod_auth_mysql or even php3) that makes
use of mysql?

If you do, then when compiling php4, you must provide
the path to the local mysql files.

eg. --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql

Failing to do this may result in the types of errors
you are seeing.
