On the Predefined constants page for the GD Documentation (http://www.php.net/manual/en/image.constants.php), the note under the constant IMG_JPEG refers to the alias IMAGE_JPG. However, that constant does not exist and I assume the intended constant is IMG_JPG.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
