Hi, i'm having trouble trying to compile php6 from source on my macbook.

you can follow my current progress at http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?p=469684

currently i'm stuck at libxml2, i keep getting 
checking libxml2 install dir... /usr/include/libxml2
checking for xml2-config path... /usr/bin/xml2-config
checking whether libxml build works... no

can anyone help?
