The following url shows the issue:
in the description, INT is the return type,
in the return values section, it is BOOl

Description
int checkdnsrr ( string $host [, string $type ] )


Return Values

Returns TRUE if any records are found; returns FALSE if no records were found or if an error occurred.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
