The page gives the following syntax for this function:

int array_unshift  ( array $array  , mixed $var  [, mixed $ ...  ] )

However, the first parameter should be given 'by reference', according to the english manual.

Correct syntax (added &):

int array_unshift  ( array &$array  , mixed $var  [, mixed $ ...  ] )
