Bug #42743 oci_num_rows returns wrong value when parameter 1 is null
Submitted: 2007-09-24 09:26 UTC Modified: 2007-10-02 10:24 UTC
From: pcdinh at gmail dot com Assigned:
Status: Not a bug Package: OCI8 related
PHP Version: 5.2.4 OS: CentOs
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2007-09-24 09:26 UTC] pcdinh at gmail dot com
Description:
------------
OCI8 said oci_num_rows returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure. But when the first parameter is null, oci_num_rows returns null.

Reproduce code:
---------------
oci_num_rows(null)

Expected result:
----------------
oci_num_rows(null) should return false because parameter must be a statement/resource. null statement is abnormal

Actual result:
--------------
oci_num_rows(null) return null
