Status: Not a bug Package: SNMP related
PHP Version: 5.2.4RC1 OS: Fedora 7
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2007-08-08 11:11 UTC] leon dot stringer at ntlworld dot com
Description:
------------
The snmpgetnext() function does not seem to be implemented.

Stub documentation indicates that it is:

  http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.snmpgetnext.php

Tested on Fedora 7 (php-5.2.2-3, net-snmp-5.4-14.fc7) and Fedore Core 5 (php-5.1.6-1.2, net-snmp-5.3-4.2).

(I realise these aren't the "latest" version (5.2.4RC1) but when this isn't even listed on http://www.php.net/downloads.php it's hard to test with this).

Reproduce code:
---------------
$snmpcommunity = "public";
$host = "localhost";
$hrStorageDescr = "1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3";
$device = snmpgetnext($host, $snmpcommunity, $hrStorageDescr);

Expected result:
----------------
For the value to be returned for the next object in the MIB.

Actual result:
--------------
error_log
Call to undefined function snmpgetnext()
