Description:
------------
On any page, some words that should be shown in italic are all
garbled and unreadable. I have to use IE to read the pages.
I am using the latest version of Firefox (Firefox/2.0.0.4)
and my Win2K box is up to date with all the latest patches.

This has been happening for a Lonnggg time.

For Example:
 http://us.php.net/manual/en/function.ereg-replace.php
The words Pattern, Replacement and String are unreadable.

string ereg_replace
Parameters

  pattern <<-garbled
  replacement <<-garbled
  string <<-garbled

If I go into the browser settings and tell Firefox not allow
a page to set its own fonts, it is not garbled.

In IE, it is not Garbled.

I highly doubt this is a phpweb problem.
Your browser seems to be overwriting our italic style rules.
Please check your browsers font configuration.
