There is an error on http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/phpweb/distributions

"rlog error: unknown character `�'"

I don't know the importance of the error or how to fix it.

Its a bug in ViewVC, nothing we can do about it.

I see. Obviously it is bogus. But I wonder what the cause is.

The file causing the problem has no data for it ...

~/phpweb/distributions
$ cvs up php-5.0.0-installer.exe
cvs update: nothing known about php-5.0.0-installer.exe

So, maybe this is the problem, the file isn't really there or part of it isn't there or something. Can this file be confirmed as present? If not, what would happen if someone "updated" it? Could that fix the problem?

Or deleted it.
