Description:
------------
hi! i'm using php 5.0.4 on fedora core 4 and apache 2.0.54.
the session.auto_start = 1 and session.save_path = /var/lib/php/session is in /etc/php.ini. the site works well in spite of the fact that from time to time i say 4-5 per hour the php.log error file shows "PHP Warning: Unknown: The session id contains illegal characters, valid characters are a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and '-,'" and immediatly after "PHP Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php/session)". I think is the third time I report this bug call over the years concerning writing session files since the version 4.0 and it keeps appearing though i've just upgrade it that my head blowed off. i just doesn't affect me at all but i report it for the sake of getting a job done once for all.
