php4.0b4pl1 compiled with mysql, ldap, oracle 815, mhash, libmcrypt, apache 1.3.12.

Compiled and installed php with apache (including ssl module) without problems. Started apache and accessed website without problem. Oracle functions are not recognized.

Note that I compiled php4.0b4pl1 the same way I compiled php3.0.12 (linking to the exact same same oracle libraries). Oracle connections work fine with php3.0.12, but cannot get them to work with php4.0b4pl1.

Any solution for this?

Jon McKee

you need to configure with an additional --with-oci
to get the OCI* functions into php4
