Description:
------------
I need to use PHP to process a DOMDocument using an XSLT stylesheet. I need to use XSLT features from XSLT 2.0 to do this (ex. grouping, create multiple result documents from one stylesheet).
I believe Saxon is the only open source parser that's out there that supports XSLT 2.0
Currently, there is no way to call the Saxon functions within PHP 5.1.

Can we somehow create an API/ interface to Saxon?
I know Saxon is Java, but there should be some way to interface with this?

Thank you!

Removed 'DOM 3' from Summary in feature description; for me anyway, it's about XSLT 2.0 support.

Since quite a while there is Saxon/C[1] which also ships with an
appropriate PHP extension. Wouldn't that suit your purpose?
