Here is my configure command: ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --enable-track-vars

Here is the error that I get during the compile (Make) process:

/usr/sbin/apxs -c -o libphp3.so  -I. -I.  -Wl,'-rpath /usr/local/lib/mysql' ./mod_php3.c libmodphp3-so.a -L/usr/local/lib  -L/usr/local/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient                             -ldb  pcrelib/libpcre.a -lpam -lm -ldl -lcrypt  -lresolv  -Lpcrelib -lpcre
apxs:Error: Unknown option: W
Usage: apxs -g -n <modname>
       apxs -q <query> ...
       apxs -c [-o <dsofile>] [-D <name>[=<value>]] [-I <incdir>]
               [-L <libdir>] [-l <libname>] <files> ...
       apxs -i [-a] [-n <modname>] <dsofile> ...
make: *** [libphp3.so] Error 1

Please upgrade your Apache server. Older versions are not supported by PHP.
