My Oracle is UTF8 charset. I setup NLS_LANG in apactl of my apache to get Korea charset. The NLS_LANG is set to NLS_LANG=KOREAN_KOREA.KO16KSC5601. When I restart apache, and use pconnect to connect to oracle. Oracle report: invalid user name or password. Of course the password is correct. Try to set the NLS_LANG to NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.KO16KSC5601 and it wil be okay.
