I try to install PHP on a AIX 5.2 ML5  and i have some troubles:

Is the version 4.311 more stable ?


Whith the following configuration:

./configure
		--with-png
		--enable_calendar
		--with-gd
		--with-oracle
		--with-oci8

I have the following "Make errors":

Do not add those huge compile error outputs here unless asked for. What compiler are you using? What version? Can you reproduce this on some other machine?

Try using GCC and you might have a chance on getting something to work.

   OK but  when I try to build GCC 4.0 I have the following errors:

Perhaps you should do what it says in the error message?
And that's definately not GCC 4, but 3.3.2. (or your installation is really messed up)

after installation of GNU make and GNU gcc 4.0 I have the following error during make install:

Now I was able to complete the install bit now when I try to launch appache I have the following:

Why do you have both --with-oracle and --with-oci8 enabled? Try with only --with-oci8
