Bug #22083 php-cli MySQL charset problem 
It still exist. since Mysql goes to 4.1. When I set utf-8 to be default charset in Mysql installation.
it is showed in apache's log
File 'c:\mysql\\share\charsets\?.conf' not found (Errcode: 2)
Character set '#33' is not a compiled character set and is not specified
in the 'c:\mysql\\share\charsets\Index' file

Reproduce code:

@mysql_connect("localhost","root","123");

Expected result:
----------------
nothing

Actual result:
--------------
nothing

Note that the two backslash does not exist,sorry.
