Description:

In release 5.0 this was noted:

However in version 5.0.3 on Linux the (it worked on windows) generates the following error on optional file upload fields that are not used:

Notice: No file uploaded in Unknown on line 0

Using php5.0.3/Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat).

Reproduce code:
---------------
<?php
	if(isset($_POST['submit'])){
		var_dump($_FILES);
		print "<BR><BR>";
	}
?>
<form name="myForm" enctype="multipart/form-data" action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] ; ?>" method="post">
	<table>
		<tr><td bgcolor="ffffff"><strong>Attachments:</strong></td></tr>
		<tr><td bgcolor="ffffff"><input type="file" name="file2[]" id="file1" class="button" size="30"></td></tr>
		<tr><td bgcolor="ffffff"><input type="file" name="file2[]" id="file1" class="button" size="30"></td></tr>
		<tr><td bgcolor="ffffff"><input type="file" name="file2[]" id="file1" class="button" size="30"></td></tr>
		<tr><td bgcolor="ffffff"><input type="submit" name="submit"></td></tr>
	</table>
</form>

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report
a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php

this is because your PHP was compiled with debugging symbols.
