The crash is easy to reproduce:

C:\php> php -a
Interactive mode enabled

<? echo ((1 == 1)? 2 : 3); ?>

A PHP window comes up with a message beginning:

"CLI has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."




Reproduce code:
---------------
echo ((1 == 1)? 2 : 3);

Expected result:
----------------
Anything but a core dump.

Actual result:
--------------
A PHP window comes up with a message beginning:

"CLI has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The error report includes this information:

AppName: php.exe         
AppVer: 5.0.3.3         
ModName: php5ts.dll
ModVer: 5.0.3.3  
Offset: 00015a24

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at
http://snaps.php.net/.
