Bug #3222 Session functions block on lock when running Apache single-thread
Submitted: 2000-01-16 06:02 UTC Modified: 2000-01-20 09:09 UTC
From: stas at zend dot com Assigned:
Status: Closed Package: Misbehaving function
PHP Version: 4.0 Latest CVS (16/01/2000) OS: Linux
Private report: No CVE-ID: None

When running Apache as httpd -X, session module gets stuck ion second call. Strace gives:

open("/tmp/sess_d2574e99227af321f5863b6a7c387c21", O_RDWR) = 6
flock(6, LOCK_EX

and block. Since I see the lock is never removed in the trace, and, moreover, even the locked file is never closed - seems we have a bug here.
