Description:

$somevalue=md5("/somewhere/.filename");

Reproduce code:
---------------
$somevalue=md5("/somewhere/.filename");

Expected result:
----------------
The somevalue is invalid.

(It is the md5sum of " xyz file not found" error response?)

md5() doesn't work with files, it works with *strings*.
use md5file() and check http://php.net/md5.
