Description:
------------
This is a problem with your web site, not with PHP (which is running fine for me) or its docs (which I haven't seen yet).

On the Documentation Download pages (<http://www.php.net/download-docs.php> and <http://www.php.net/docs-echm.php>), you guys spend a lot of electrons advising non-Windows users how to make use of Windows .chm files, but none whatsoever advising Windows users how to make use of .gz and .tar.gz files. Do you Unix weenies think us Windozers are not worthy of such concern? ;-)

Also, IMO, you should briefly note on these pages whether the four different versions of the documentation (six if you count the online versions) are all equally complete or somehow abridged, and if so, how.

Use basically any program that supports uncompression: unzip, pkzip, winzip, winrar, windows commander, total commander, etc. It is like explaining how to open a webpage: you need a web browser. To uncompress a file, you need an uncompressor.
