Causes of listing

    * System has sent mail to SpamCop spam traps in the past week (spam traps are secret, no reports or evidence are provided by SpamCop)
"

This is my request to them:
=======================================================

lists.php.net runs the mailing lists for the PHP project (www.php.net).
We only send mail from that box in two cases:

- to people that have subscribed and that have confirmed that they do indeed wish to be subscribed.
- as a challenge/response to block spambots from sending to the lists

If we are sending mail to one of your unknown spam trap addresses, it is because someone has either:

- signed it up to the list (and confirmed it)
- subscribed to the list using a different account, and forwarding the mail to your trap
- using your spam trap as faked sender address, causing challenges to be sent out.

We're vehemently anti-spam at PHP.net, so we will gladly remove your spam trap address if you tell us what it is, or otherwise work with you to determine what/how the mail is being sent.

We can't fix it unless you open up and give us more information about the problem.

Hi Wez -- we are investigating the emails that are being reported. They
appear to be normal posts to the list. I have delisted 216.92.131.4
