Description:
------------
Hi,

i'm currently working on a Fedora Core 2 with Apache 2.0.51-2.7 and php 4.3.8-2.1

I've made some changes in the php.ini like enabling the display of errors and things like that.

The problem is with the register_globals variable. It's Off by default since php 4.2.0 but our developers need it to work on an old development.

So when i switch it to On, the value is kept in the file but it's still off in the phpinfo and indeed the old developments don't work.

There's only one php.ini file which is located in /etc/php.ini.

Thanks in advance
