After experiencing several mysterious segfaults with php-5.0.2/apache2/oracle combination under heavy load I have made the following modifications to oci8.c file and the crashes have happily vanished for my case.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
