The "/usr/bin/test" command of Solaris OS does not have "-e" argument.
Therefore, it becomes the error of the following:

% ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \
              --enable-mbstring=shared \
              --enable-mbregex=shared

.

checking whether to enable multibyte string support... yes, shared
checking whether to enable multibyte regex support... shared
checking for external libmbfl... no
./configure: test: argument expected
