The extension directory do not change while I check phpinfo();

and The extension directory can be changed and works while I used php 4

Thanks, but the problem still exists after I try php5 RC3-dev.

The extension dir is still C:\php5 and cannot be changed to d:\apache\php5\ext

I have the same problem. I'm trying to configure PHP on windows 2000 and 2003 as ISAPI on IIS. It looks like php.ini isn't parsed at all.

php.ini needs to be in your windows directory by default. Alternatively you can set PHPRC environmental variable to point at a dir where php.ini is located.
