Description:
------------
I am unable to ./buildconf - with errors reported =

configure.in:22: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_ERROR
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:65: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
configure:3069: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_GLIB_2_0
configure:3183: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_GTK_2_0

I am running =
RedHat9
gtk+-2.2.4
autoconf-2.59
I have no idea how to correct this issue or use "m4_pattern_allow" as the error suggests.

Expected result:
----------------
I expect buildconf to complete

Same Problem on SuSE9.1-64Bit.
As I'm not an expert in autoconf, I've no clue how to fix
it. I really would like to play with php-gtk, but since
this bug is open for a while, there is not much hope...
Even the latest cvs-Version is not working...

What version of PHP-GTK are you trying to build?
