If you try and visit www.php.net/stats, the automatic 
mirror selection (or any prefs you set at php.net/my) 
automatically redirect you to another mirror, which may 
or may not run stats.

This is because php.net has a buggy stats setup. The stats dir is aliased, but there is nothing in it, so the 404 is called. If the alias would not be in place, the deafult "No stats" page would be displayed, and no redirection would be done. So this is up to systems@ to fix.
