While running .5.2, I could use php to correctly hide the DOS window while running my program. 

However, when I switched to 1.0.0, php_win no longer hides it. If it try to output something, EG, echo something, it still crashes/closes. I have all necessary .dlls and exe's in a directory under my scripts. (\backend) I find this easier than fully installing php.

You don't need any special code, just run something normally and it won't hide it.
