Description:
------------
I am using Windows XP with IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2

The mentioned autocomplete feature on php.net site is not working in this browser. I have tried following URL to test the auto complete feature.

http://in2.php.net/search.php?show=quickref&

I tried typing mysql, define and other various function names but couldnt see any suggested entries.

Expected result:
----------------
I should have seen a list of function names matching with my typed entry, from which I should be able to select one name using arrow keys.

Have you tried the upper right box or the search form on the page?

Hi,

As I mentioned in my bug report,

I tried to test the feature on 'search' page and not on main page.

Oops!
My mistake. I tried the text box in the main search form.

Very sorry to waste your time.

But I feel that it's not mentioned in the announcement that we are supposed to use upper right box to test the feature.

[Posting from php.net
Try selecting the 'function list' lookup option and start typing in a function name in the search field. You can autocomplete the name with the space key and navigate in the dropdown with the up and down cursor keys. We welcome feedback on this feature at the webmasters email address, but please submit any bugs you find in the bug system classifying them as a "PHP.net website problem" and providing as much information as possible (OS, Browser version, Javascript errors, etc..). ]

We can modify these wordings to indicate which text box to use to test the auto complete.

Thanks & Regards,
JD

I have replaced the search form with a paragraph of text indicating that all the search features are available on the upper right box. It was my mistake to put the beta testing on the search page, and cause this confusion... It was not the best idea from a support perspective :((
