Description:
------------
I run a network which consists of the following: alteon load balancer > 3 web front ends each running red hat linux 7.3 kernel v2.4.20, apache 1.3.27 with a backdoor network of an NFS file server with a mirror and a mysql db (v.3.23.54) server/slave. I recently upgraded my php from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 and added the (taken from php.ini) zend_extension = /usr/local/include/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so

my configure:
./configure --with-apxs=/var/www/bin/apxs --with-mysql --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm --enable-sigchild --with-gd --with-freetype-dir=/usr/lib --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local --with-png-dir=/usr/local --with-gd-native-ttf --with-zlib=/usr --enable-ftp --enable-sockets --disable-mailparse --enable-pic --enable-inline-optimization --enable-memory-limit --enable-track-vars

After the upgrade I didn't notice any immediate problems, however I have received > a dozen complaints (I am unable to replicate) users using Internet Explorer 6veriempt to view php pages from my cluster and they pull up nothing but a white page in their browser. I verified the IE build to be consistent with mine which is Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 Only Internet Explorer users have complained, and not ALL IE systems are affected. When I asked the user to try another browser Netscape seemed to work just fine! To fix the problem I have downgraded php back to 4.3.2 Wondering if anyone else has seen this problem at all or if I am just a crazy sys admin.

Thanks,

Any report which has any 3rd party requirements is automatically bogused. Any reports which claim IE does not work, is bogus. (it's an IE bug, not PHP)
