Description:
------------
You can use the GD library to operate on images, like JPEGs. But you cannot losslessly rotate or flip JPEG files with that. There's a linux console program, 'jpegtran', that seems to belong to the jpeglib. But it is not available as a binary for Windows (or is it?). Now what about some PHP functions besides the GD functions to do such things? I mean rotate, flip, crop, recode and so on, all without re-compressing the JPEG image.

This would have to be implemented for libgd first, so I've filed
a respective ticket there[1], and suspend this ticket for the time
being.
