set_file_buffer isn't implemented.  BTW, I have a few suggestions for making this function return TRUE and FALSE like other php functions.  I sent this suggestion to the PHP3 bug database.

well, the function is still there
(implemented in  ext/standard/file.c:1116)
but is not registered in the function table

is there any reason for this??

I added it to basic_functions.c.
