Description:
------------
Hi, there,

after compiling PHP successfully and making install the installer crashes at
<Installing PEAR environment:/usr/local/httpd/includes/pear/>

The error message is:
Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: A null value was found where an object instance was required

and the installer doesn't go on from this point. Only Ctrl+C
stops the process.

Here's my configure command:

./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --sysconfdir=/etc/httpd --with-pear=/usr/local/httpd/includes/pear --enable-magic-quotes --with-zlib=/usr/local --enable-bcmath --with-bz2=/usr/local --enable-calendar --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local --with-tiff-dir=/usr/local --with-curl=/usr/local --with-dom=/usr/local --enable-ftp --with-gd=/usr/local --with-png-dir=/usr/local --with-freetype-dir=/usr/local --with-gettext=/usr/local --with-imap=/usr/local --with-imap-ssl=/usr/local/ssl --enable-mbstring --with-mcrypt=/usr/local --with-mhash=/usr/local --with-ming=/usr/local --with-mono=/usr/local --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-ncurses=/usr/local --with-pdflib=/usr/local --with-mm=/usr/local --enable-sysvmsg --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm --enable-wddx --with-libxml-dir=/usr/local --with-libexpat-dir=/usr/local --with-xmlrpc=/usr/local --with-xsl=/usr/local --enable-versioning --with-mcal=/usr/local

I don't know whats going on, so i can't post more infos about that. I just can say that all included extensions are properly installed. The make command ended succesfully.

Greetings,
Sven Zurnieden

Please try using this CVS snapshot:

  http://snaps.php.net/php5-latest.tar.gz

For Windows:

  http://snaps.php.net/win32/php5-win32-latest.zip

And check if you have php.ini in /usr/local/lib
Also, ditch the '--enable-versioning', you don't need it.
