I'm trying to compile with AIX's cc.

My configuration command is:
./configure \
 --with-apache=../apache_1.3.9 \
 --with-config-file-path=/w1/local/php/lib \
 --with-exec-dir=/w1/local/php/bin \
 --with-mysql=/w1/local/mysql \
 --with-oracle=/a9/oracle1 \
 --with-xml=no \
 --enable-debug=no \
 --enable-safe-mode=yes \
 --enable-track-vars=yes \
 --enable-short-tags=no

During the configuration I get:
checking for Oracle support... yes
checking Oracle version... 7.3

Later in the configuration I get:
creating Makefile
sed: Function s%@ORACLE_SHLIBS@%-lclient -lsqlnet -lncr -lsqlnet -lclient -lcommon -lgeneric -lsqlnet -lncr -lsqlnet -lclient -lcommon -lgeneric -lepc -lnlsrtl3 -lc3v6 -lcore3 -lnlsrtl3 -lcore3 -lnlsrtl3 -lm -lld -lm cannot be parsed.

creating config.h

All of the above files are 0 bytes.

If I remove Oracle from the configuration I can compile cleanly.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately, PHP 3 is no longer supported. Please download
the latest version of PHP 4 from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
