Hi,
read_exif_data is avalaible at minimum 4.0.2 ( at least the changelog has an entry related to fhis function).

The manual says: read_exif_data is an alias of exif_read_data, containing no version info. AFAIK in 4.2.0 read_exif data becomes an alias of exif_read data. The docs for read_exif_data are quite misleading, one could get the wrong impression, that read_exif_data is available >= 4.2.0 which is plain wrong.

Similiar is true for ftp_close and ftp_quit. Aliased functions should contain version infos.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
