Any call to parse_ini_file() function results to crash. I'm using Windows XP Pro/Apache 2/PHP as module on local machine, and on our FreeBSD server we experience the same problem on FreeBSD/Apache 1.3/PHP as module, using the last snapshot.
I remember that in some previous versions of PHP this function did work ok even in WinXP/Apache2.

The last snapshot works ok under Windows XP. Tomorrow I'll try it under FreeBSD...
