Calling MySQL_PConnect() cause following warning: Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't create TCP/IP socket (10106) in ...
MySQL server is Ver 12.18 Distrib 4.0.12, for Win95/Win98 (i32). The MySQL server is running, other client applications can connect to it.
I'm trying PHP as CGI script from Jetty server (with net.gleamynode.servlet.jetty.PHP servlet). It cause this warning only if script is called via CGI - when I run it directly from commandline, it works fine.
PHP is downloaded in compiled form from www.php.net.
There is part of output of phpinfo():
