Propable related to http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=22423

$x=parse_url('file://C:/any/path/file.ext');

(that is, file url with driveletter)

gives:

Warning: parse_url(file://C:/any/path/file.ext) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse url in f:\wwwroot\test.php on line 3

it's propably the second : in the argument

I've seen applications give this type of URL's as referrer in GET requests (eg Microsoft ActiveX XML parser when used in javascript from a local file)

Cheers
