I have a PHP script using $HTTP_SERVER_VAR['something'] in order to compatible older PHP version.

However, today when I ran PHP 5.0-dev to see how my script working, I found the $HTTP_SERVER_VAR['something'] did not working at all whereas $_SERVER['something'] wroks fine.

Is that a mistake or some decision on abandon variable?

I need this variable working anyway, just like PHP4 dose.

THx.
