I'm new to XML ... I've tried several scipts, but nothing worked (Expat method). For example: the script in PHP manual in the XML section: 1st example, with this small xml file:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<movie>
<movieName>We Were Soldiers</movieName>
<movieNote href="http://www.hollywood.com">Vietnam movie staring Mel Gibson</movieNote>
</movie>

1st error: XML error: syntax error at line 1 column 14 (if I delete the 1. row, it's OK.)
2nd error: XML error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 3 column 16 (something goes wrong with the attributes ..., if I delete this, it's OK.)

I have tried this on Linux, and everything goes well:
Linux (2.4.16)
PHP 4.1.2
Apache 1.3.23

I'have tried the xlst_create() function too: Undefined functuin ... (but I have copied all the dll files from distribution dir to windows/system32 )

System:
WinXP build2600
PHP 4.3.1 win32 (zipped file)
Apache 1.3.27 win32
ABIT KT7A motherboard
AMD Thunderbird 1.3GHz CPU
