I was install oracle 8.1.7 client on /opt/oracle 
and try to config php to support oracle, by use option 
--with-oracle=/opt/oracle 

# ./configure --with-oracle=/opt/oracle --with-apache=../apache.version --enable-track-vars 
# make

after "make" it show error 

/usr/local/src/php-4.3.1/ext/oracle/php_oracle.h:23:20: ocidfn.h: No such file or directory
/usr/local/src/php-4.3.1/ext/oracle/php_oracle.h:24:20: ociapr.h: No such file or directory
In file included from /usr/local/src/php-4.3.1/ext/oracle/oracle.c:40:
/usr/local/src/php-4.3.1/ext/oracle/php_oracle.h:69: parse error before "Lda_Def"

how can I fix this problem?

Set your --with-oracle=... to $ORACLE_HOME, which is probably /opt/oracle/product/8.1.7 .

Probably you want to use --with-oci8 instead of --with-oracle. See
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.oci8.php for details.

Wrong path used. Plus you should use --with-oci8 instead.
(ext/oracle is outdated anyway)
