I live in Spain yet I speak English better than Spanish. Everytime I go to php.net it defaults to Spanish, and yet I want to see it in English. I have to manually change the directory path to see English. Can?t you save my default language.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged
every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can
grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/.
 
In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at
http://www.php.net/manual/.

In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites in short time.

From now on the last selected language will be remembered in a cookie.

... still i'd suggest you'd change 
the language preference settings
in your browser (for other language
aware sites and in case the cookie
is lost)?
