I am running a cobalt version of redhat linux and installe php3 and immediately noted some very strange behaviour using the date and time functions, the values being returned are very odd. I first ran across this when trying to use this script: http://www.phpwizard.net/phpMisc/calendar.php3?month=12&year=1999

This script is found here:
http://www.phpwizard.net/phpMisc/scripts/pretty/calendar.php3

For instance on my machine this code:
$daycount = date( "t", mktime(0, 0, 0, $month, 1, $year));

returns a value of 't'??

The machine is a mips processor and I installed php3 from a rpm at www.cobaltnet.com, I would happily give you ssh login to the server to verify it or further explain.

Then you are not using 3.0.12. The 't' option to date was added in version 3.0.10. Prior to 3.0.10 it would just
have returned a t like you describe.
