I try different way to read the referer :

<?php
echo foo();

function foo() {
  return $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
}
?>

<?php
$ref = getenv( "HTTP_REFERER" );
echo $ref;
?>

<?php
echo $HTTP_REFERER;
?>

but in any case I never had a result.

I try with php configured as CGI and as ISAPI.
