COM-Support on Apache 1.3.27 with PHP 4.2.2 (as Apache dso) seems to have a memory leak. Every time I run the following code, memory usage of Apache is increased by about 86 kB:

$cid = new COM('ADODB.Connection');
$cid->Open ("File Name=udlfile.udl");
$rid = $cid->Execute ("SELECT * FROM test");

$rid->Close();
$rid->Release();
$rid = NULL;
unset ($rid);

$cid->Close();
$cid->Release();
$cid = NULL;
unset ($cid);

Is it really a memory leak or just my way of trying to free memory resources?

Cheers, Norbert
